Enactus and Resolution Project: Full Announcement

Dear Enactus Community,
We hope this note finds you in great health and spirits. We have exciting news to share with you.

Enactus and Resolution Project (Resolution) are teaming up to advance and strengthen the global ecosystem that supports young social entrepreneurs. Resolution has committed financial and human capital to rebuilding Enactus Global and to building collaborations across the Enactus Network to advance our shared mission.

Enactus and Resolution have similar missions aiming to empower young social entrepreneurs – each with distinct modes of delivery. Enactus serves a global network of country affiliates working across college campuses that host social entrepreneurship competitions, offer entrepreneurial training and resources, and cultivate a community of peer-to-peer support. Resolution offers a holistic suite of support – seed funding, mentorship, pro bono services, access to experts, training, and other opportunities – for young leaders with innovative entrepreneurial ideas through its Social Venture Challenges and Resolution Fellowship. Enactus trains and cultivates leadership for young leaders, while Resolution launches and amplifies their impact.

Together, our partnership forms one of the largest nonprofit collaborations at the nexus of youth leadership and social entrepreneurship and will engage more than 40,000 young people each year in nearly 100 countries.

In July 2023, many within the Enactus community learned that Enactus planned to end day-to-day operations of Enactus Global and Enactus United States due to financial challenges. Through this time of transition, Enactus Country Affiliates continued to serve their communities, coming together to run the 2023 Enactus World Cup in Utrecht. These affiliates continued to demonstrate the commitment this community has to Enactus’ critical work of cultivating and supporting young social entrepreneurs around the world.

Thanks to the commitment of the Enactus Global community and the work of Enactus Country Affiliates, and the addition of Resolution’s substantial support, Enactus’ efforts to foster creativity and innovation in the world of youth social entrepreneurship will maintain its forward momentum. In partnership with Resolution and a newly-resourced Enactus Global, young social innovators will have a complete pathway to take their ideas from conception to development, to execution. Future collaborative programming will offer participants opportunities to learn about social entrepreneurship, develop proof of concept, scale ideas, and gain financial support.

As we look ahead to the future of Enactus Global, we are focused on providing high-quality support for the country network – where so much of our critical work is happening – and for the students our country affiliates serve. Enactus United States will continue to operate as an Enactus country, with campuses across the United States receiving support to build social enterprises.
