Why have Enactus and Resolution formed a strategic partnership?

In July 2023, Enactus announced it would end day-to-day operations of Enactus Global and Enactus United States (USA) due to financial challenges. With Enactus and Resolution having similar missions to serve young social entrepreneurs around the world – and with Enactus Country Affiliates continuing their work in their communities through the end of 2023 despite the announcement – Resolution  committed financial and human capital to rebuilding Enactus Global and to building collaborations across the Enactus Network to advance that shared mission. 

The partnership effectively ensures the continuation of Enactus Global programming, support for Enactus Country Affiliates at the global level, and strengthens the global network of support for young, innovative leaders, solving the world’s most pressing problems in nearly 100 countries..

What will change for Enactus and Resolution with the partnership

Currently, the Enactus and Resolution missions will remain the same. There will be no changes to either Enactus or Resolution programming. Enactus Network Countries will continue to support students in their respective countries. Resolution Fellows will continue to have their experience through planned Resolution programming.

However, Enactus Global and United States will now receive administrative support from Resolution. Functions such as Human Resources, Fundraising, Communications, and Operations will be consolidated and managed from within Resolution. 

Will anything change if I am an Enactus program participant or Resolution Fellow?

For now, whether you are a participant in Enactus programming or a Resolution Fellow, your experience will not change. The long-term vision for programming and collaboration is still being defined, but we anticipate there may be more opportunities for Resolution Fellows and Enactus students to interact with each other, and to participate in collaborative or new programming in the near future.

What happens next?

Over the coming months Enactus and Resolution leadership will work together to ensure the continuity of experiences for Enactus program participants and Resolution Fellows. This includes hosting a successful Enactus United States Expo and the 2024 Enactus World Cup. Resolution will also work to ensure that all financial commitments from Enactus Global are fulfilled. 

The second priority for Enactus and Resolution leadership is to solidify the combined structure of both organizations. In the future, this may offer more opportunities for collaborative programming and shared network opportunities.
