Our proudest moment of the past year:
“Watching our students bask in the success of our farmers and people that are being helped by their efforts. Getting to see our students FaceTime with our farmers before and during the practices for our competition. These students, although wanting to win, are really in this for the right reason to change the lives of others for the better.”
Biggest challenge from the past year:
“Getting schedules to work and getting everyone on the same page with time, commitment, etc.”
Team described in one word:
Tight.
A passion for social enterprise and helping those in need in her community led Princess to her university’s Enactus team. “I love our farmers and I am always inspired with their hard work as well as the other members on my team.” Two years later, Princess serves as the VP of Communications and Recruitment on her team. Today, one of her greatest successes with her team has been the change she has seen in herself through serving others. Princess is an exercise sports science and entrepreneurship major set to graduate in December 2018. At Enactus World Cup this year, Princess is looking forward to the opportunity to hear feedback on her team’s project and meet other Enactus students.

Through his team’s project, RiceUp, Joseph found his passion for making a difference in people’s lives. “Raising my vision for life and my role in this world, I’ve become much better than who I was [before Enactus],” says Joseph. “I couldn’t have achieved this without our mentors.” An active member for two years, Joseph serves as a project team member and presenter on his team. Attending his second Enactus World Cup, Joseph wishes to gain relationships that will last a lifetime. Joseph is a business management finance and marketing track major set to graduate in June 2019.
