Our proudest moment of the past year:
We don’t have just one. We mostly are proud of the fact that so many people appreciated our actions.
Biggest challenge from the past year:
Limited contact during holidays … which generated interruptions and made our teamwork hard...We met and talked about the problem, explained to each other what we need to change and now the situation is stable again.
Team described in one word:
Creativity.
Majka was among a group of friends who became inaugural members when our Enactus Poland team launched in 2016. One year later, she’s “in constant contact with people” while working with them to solve problems and conflicts related to team projects. In the process, she says she’s already gained valuable experience in the business world. “I try to listen to every member [and] make the right decision so that no one is harmed,” she says. Majoring in international economic relations, Majka plans to graduate in 2020.
More about Majka:
After learning about Enactus in a university lecture, Morten and a friend helped to reactivate our Enactus Poland team in 2016. At first, he says he was afraid to talk with CEOs and other business executives while working on team projects, but his nerves later dropped away during a speed-consulting session with teammates and Enactus partners in Warsaw. “After the first session, I was sudden calm and realized, ‘It is not a big deal to talk to the CEO of [an] investment company,” says Morten, who heads the team sales department and plans to graduate in 2020.
