Our proudest moment of the past year:
When the king of the Netherlands, his Royal Highness Willem-Alexander, visited Wageningen and talked with us about UniPlastic.
Biggest challenge from the past year:
Our biggest challenge was progressing our projects from ideation phase to implementation phase. We got through this by building up a network of people who we could work with together so that we could take the necessary steps.
Team described in one word:
Motivated
Noor is a Business Studies student from Wageningen who anticipates graduating in 2021. She has been involved with Enactus for two years and is in charge of External Relations for UniPlastic. Noor began her membership with Enactus as she and Dagmar, another team member, were searching to do something besides their studies, preferably do something good for others. “A friend of hers told us about her experiences with Enactus and that is why we decided to start a new team in Wageningen.”

Sophie anticipates graduating university in 2020 with an undergraduate degree in Food Technology. She will also graduate with a Masters degree in 2022. She has been involved with Enactus for two years, heads up the team’s Finance for Insect Impact and is part of the presentation team at Enactus World Cup. Sophie believes her biggest success has been winning the 2019 Netherlands Enactus National Competition. “I have been involved with team Wageningen since the beginning, it was amazing to see the team grow from a small new team to a winning team in only two years!”
