A friend introduced Ainura to Enactus three years ago at university. As program manager, she says she has developed the ability to think strategically and professionally to be a good leader. Enactus has helped Ainura overcome her fear of public speaking. “I really wanted to become a speaker, so I practiced a lot and thanks to Enactus I overcame this fear,” says Ainura. “Now I feel confident on stage and want to help other students.” At Enactus World Cup, Ainura hopes to find new ideas and gain experience in project presentation to a large audience in a new country. An International Relations of Foreign Affairs major, she plans to graduate in 2019.

Kubanychbek became involved with Enactus after he volunteered in one of the Enactus team projects at his university where he gained friends and saw the opportunity to change lives. After two years, Kubanychbek serves as the Vice Captain on his Enactus team. “Every day in Enactus I find new opportunities for development.” He says his greatest success has been being able to open his own business which allows him to pay for school.
