Ms. Priyanka Bhatia
Our proudest moment of the past year:
“After two years of research and networking and three months of grueling ground work, we were finally able to launch our Community RO Plant that impacts over 2,500 families in one of India’s largest slums. The National Capital, Delhi’s Health Parliamentarian attended the event.”
Biggest challenge from the past year:
“As a team, we believe Enactus is a cycle. Having been through two years of not being able to impact our communities meaningfully, we were completely bogged down by failure. However, we kept up our hard work and spirits high, and with the zeal of our entrepreneurs, we were able to turn this cycle around.”
Team described in one word:
Resolute.
Before university, Vedika marveled those who had the ability to create meaningful change in people’s lives. She joined our Enactus India National Champion team two years ago and now serves as the co-president for her team. “Often described as shy, becoming a leader to the team was not something that came naturally to me,” says Vedika about her biggest challenge. “It was me training the juniors and pushing my teammates to become change agents and entrepreneurs [that helped].” Vedika says her biggest success has been playing a small role in encouraging and inspiring her team. She is an honors economics major who plans to graduate in May 2019.

In his second year with our Enactus India National Champion team, Rishabh now serves as the Senior Research Executive. Rishabh says his greatest success has been how many lives he’s been able to positively change. I’ve been able to impact more than 4,000 people,” says Rishabh, a commerce business major set to graduate in June 2019. “We have successfully set up seven clinics and one poly clinic to improve the last mile health connectivity for over 100 villages of Gharunda.” Rishabh says Enactus World Cup will be one of the most defining moments in his life.
