Our proudest moment of the past year:
“Having a team in seven other countries: Brazil, Canada, Mali, Congo, Gabon, Benin and Senegal.”
Biggest challenge from the past year:
“We have many, including the national competition; we did not have much time, but with the team’s positivity and the good organization, we managed our time and got by.”
Team described in one word:
Family.
Anouchka joined our Enactus France National Champion team one year ago when she and Meryem, our other Enactus University Paris 13 profiled student, were searching for a social incubator for their project DrepaCare. Anouchka says she’s had many successes during her time with her team. “Pitching in English, structuring our business model, meeting competent people and getting feedback [on projects] from experts.” At her first Enactus World Cup this year, Anouchka hopes to communicate to others about sickle cell disease which is the heart of her team’s project.

Just one year after joining her team, Meryem is headed to Enactus World Cup in San Jose, California. Her team’s goal is to communicate about sickle cell disease and bring it out of the shadows. Meryem says the biggest challenge she’s faced during her Enactus work is, “participating in three Enactus competitions at the same time. It was very stressful, but we managed our time well and we were able to win two of them.” Her greatest achievement? Being able to improve and better structure their business model so that it is sustainable for their projects.
