Our proudest moment of the past year:
Growing in scale from 11 members to 44 active members, achieving great engagement and establishing an ingrained, driven culture in our team.

Biggest challenge from the past year:
Our biggest challenge was figuring out how to start new, successful and sustainable projects. The key we learned was to stick to first principles, not to be attached to ideas, but complete a thorough needs assessment before ideating a project.

Nathan Wang has been involved with Enactus for three years and currently serves as the team’s Outgoing President. He says a typical day with his team is dynamic, variable and each day throws a new learning curve. Nathan says the biggest success with his team is growing it from 11 people to 44; engaged committee members with 350 additional general members has led to a successful journey to Enactus World Cup.

Nathan Nguyen is a Marketing and Management student from Melbourne who anticipates graduating in June 2021. He has been an Enactus member for two years and serves as the team’s President. Nathan says his biggest success he has achieved through Enactus is helping rebuild and strengthen the brand image alongside the marketing and events team, which has played a large role in the acquisition of talented committee members from all faculties of the university.

  • Best Enactus moment: The moment right after it was announced that we had won the Enactus Australia National Competition and I was able to see the raw emotion that everyone in our team displayed whether they be tears, screams or laughter.
