Focus on innovative, performance-based business models to create prosperity

The United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and Enactus announced a joint declaration of collaboration today to foster and promote innovative performance-based business models which ignite business growth, advance economic competitiveness and contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Enactus is the world´s largest experiential learning platform dedicated to creating a better world while developing the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders and social innovators. With 72,000 participating students on university campuses in 36 countries, Enactus teams launch projects and businesses to, among other objectives, help address the SDGs. Teams are supported by an international network of business and academic leaders.

“Enactus is honoured to partner with UNIDO to foster and promote innovative business models,“ said Rachel Jarosh, president and chief executive officer of Enactus. “At Enactus, we believe investing in students who take entrepreneurial action for others creates a better world for us all and we know that we are most successful through strong partnerships with pioneering organizations like UNIDO.“
