U.S. Expo gives young leaders an inside look at 20+ years of the Edelman Trust Barometer  

 

Richard Edelman, CEO of leading global communications firm Edelmanwill join the virtual Partner Summit Series at the Enactus United States National Exposition on April 14, 2021, to discuss the urgent risks and opportunities surrounding trust in society today and what it means for purpose-driven entrepreneurs. 

 In a session called “Who Can You Trust?Richard will draw on more than 20 years of the Edelman Trust Barometer to examine the critical role of trust as organizations and businesses accelerate their local and global impact and advance the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  

 Edelman Trust data shows that while trust in governments suffered the largest decrease among studied institutions in the past yearbusinesses and NGOs have an incredible opportunity to lead right now. At the same time, young people are pushing them to be more mission-driven than ever beforeAs entrepreneurs and employees, increasingly representing a workforce majority, and as consumers, young changemakers are putting their trust and influence behind brands that are accountable to more than the bottom line.
