Top Four Teams Named in Ultimate Showcase of Social Innovation
Enactus teams of university students from University of Mannheim, Germany; Lambton College, Sarnia, Ontario, Canada; Cairo University, Egypt; and Brigham Young University-Hawaii, Laie, Hawaii, United States, were named finalists today at Enactus World Cup 2019. The Enactus World Cup champion team will be named on 18 September and will be awarded the Ford Better World Award of $50,000 USD with the top three runners-up earning prize monies as well.
The teams advanced to the final round of competition at the signature event for Enactus, a global non-profit with more than 72,000 student members from 36 countries across 1,730 university campuses. They have been selected from the 32 teams who began the competition on Monday, 16 September, and will present to a panel of global business leaders on Wednesday, 18 September.
