Proudest moment from 2024: Qualifying as Top 6 Finalist at the Action With Africa Challenge 2024.

Biggest challenge faced in the past year: Financial constraints, which threatened the funding of our projects and innovations. To overcome this challenge, we explored strategic partnerships. We strengthened our existing partnerships and forged new ones with organizations and businesses that shared our vision. We also intensified resource optimization, exploring cost-effective solutions and innovative approaches.

One word description: Revolutionary.

Featured Project: Ecoresin

Ecoresin produces biological resin from cassava starch which we use to make packaging materials and containers, especially single-use shopping bags. This resin is an excellent alternative to the current polymer resins used to make plastic bags and containers. Ecoresin biopolymer resins are degradable in soil and water, returning back into nature without a trace. Ecoresin also produces highly water-sensitive films used to coat fruit and vegetables, extending their shelf life from an average of 4 days to over 30 days.
