In the U.S. and Australia, Enactus students and leaders took the stage during Break the Ceiling Touch the Sky summits in New York City and Sydney. In Paris, Enactus France students and Enactus President & CEO Rachael Jarosh joined ranks with changemakers at Sustainable Brand Paris, Europe’s largest event on sustainability and innovation.
At the New York BTCTTS summit in January, Rachael Jarosh, Enactus President & CEO shared the stage with other women who shared perspective and stories on Charting a Course that Leads to the C-Suite.
It’s the second year that Enactus Australia took part in the high impact one-day Sydney BTCTTS program that focuses on enabling women leaders and male champions for diversity with best practices related to gender diversity, leadership and success that have a direct impact on their organizations and their own success.
Judy Howard, Enactus Australia Country Leader, moderated a panel discussing CEO views on the “future forces impacting your world and career”. The panel and the experience affirmed the advantage that Enactus students have as a result of the real-world experience they gain through the experiential learning of Enactus. Students from UNSW and Macquarie participated in the event as well as “speed mentoring” by leaders from some of Australia’s leading companies.
During the Sustainable Brands Paris event, Enactus France students partnering with the Sustainable Brands team coached 50 youth who united to bring fresh perspectives on brand challenges during the Youth Hacktivator. The event is highly aligned with the Enactus mission as it brings together the next generation of leaders, experts and changemakers who seek to make the world a better place.
