We are proud to be hosting the Enactus World Cup 2016 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre- South Building (MTCC-South). MTCC-South is a state of the art convention complex located in downtown Toronto, Ontario along Front Street West in the former Railway Lands.

Passport & Visa Information

The travel application process can be complex and time consuming, so we urge all Enactus World Cup attendees to review the following information in a timely manner and take the appropriate steps to secure travel authorization to Canada, if required. The World Cup has been registered with the Special Events Unit of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The Special Events Unit will share the information provided on your event with the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) International Events and Conventions Services Program (IECSP). The Citizenship and Immigration Canada’s Special Event Code for this event is “16ENAC.”

All attendees from outside Canada will need a valid passport to attend the event. Depending on your citizenship or your immigration status, most attendees will also need either an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or a VISA. Please note that while Enactus has completed this initial research, it is still highly recommended that you speak with your local Canadian embassy or consulate to confirm these details as requirements are subject to change

Air Transportation

Toronto Pearson International Airport is the main international airport serving Toronto and is located 16 miles / 26 km (approximately 30 minutes) from the Metro Toronto Convention Centre where the Enactus World Cup 2016 will take place. Ground Transportation

There are several ways to reach the Metro Toronto Convention Centre to local hotels.

  1. Union Pearson Express (UP Express): One-way train ticket C$12 / Approx. $9 USD per person. The UP Express gets you from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport to Union Station downtown in 25 minutes. Passengers can buy tickets for the shuttle at the airport or on the UP Express station website. UP Express departs from both Union Station and Toronto Pearson International Airport every 15 minutes. The first and the last trains arrive at 5:27 AM and 12:57 AM.
  2. Airport Limo: C$60 / Approx. $41.00 USD for 1-3 passengers in a regular Sedan. From the airport, advance reservations are not required; just follow the signs to the limo queue, where it’s typically a very short wait. Ignore any drivers who may approach you inside the terminal. Debit cards are not accepted, and if paying by credit card, check with the driver in advance. You can book on line here.
  3. Taxi: C$55 / Approx. $38 USD per person. Make sure you use an official taxi with a sign on the roof and with the driver’s registration card. This option will take approximately 30-60 minutes.
