Get to Know Us:

Lissoune was approached by one of her professors at her university to join Enactus and 4 years later, she serves as the Marketing Manager for our Enactus Senegal National Champion team. She says her biggest challenge is working to achieve their goals, but it is easy with such a great and devoted team. Through helping people, Lissoune has gained valuable skills which she says is her greatest achievement through her time on her Enactus team. Going into her fourth and final year, Lissoune gets to travel to Enactus World Cup and hopes to gain new entrepreneurial ideas.

More about Lissoune:

  • Who inspires me: Nelson Mandela
  • Enactus in one word: Amazing.
  • Best Enactus moment: “The joy of our beneficiaries and the team.”

At the recommendation of a friend, Abdou joined the Enactus team at his university two years ago. He serves as a project manager on his team. “I work hard with my team,” says Abdou. “We try and try again until we reach success.” During his time, he has learned how to balance school and Enactus. When Abdou is not in class, he is brainstorming with his team trying to come up with new strategies and develop new ideas into action.
