Get to Know Us:

After a study abroad student invited the business club Costanza was involved with to join Enactus, she knew she had found her place. Costanza says because of her major and her passion for leadership, she was naturally attracted to Enactus. “Joining Enactus was the best decision I have ever made,” says Costanza, a Business Administration major set to graduate in May 2019. An Enactus team member for one year, Costanza serves as the Business Development and Management officer. At Enactus World Cup, Costanza hopes to meet and connect with people from all over the world and ultimately learn through their experiences and projects.

More about Costanza:

  • What I’m reading: “Why I’m No Longer Talking to White People About Race” by Reni Eddo-Lodge
  • Theme song: “Iron Sky” by Paolo Nutini
  • Who inspires me: Virginia Woolf
  • Enactus in one word:  Empowering.
  • Best Enactus moment: “The late night work meetings with the team right before our first National Competition to plan and strategize together.”
  • In five years, I will be… “a little older, working on social innovation and hopefully step closer to a more just, greener and equal world.”

Involved in Enactus for one year, Peter says serving as the Financial Coordinator has allowed him to exercise his previously learned knowledge with real-world entrepreneurial demands. “The largest challenge has been learning how to work with bureaucracy in Italy and gaining fruitful partnerships,” says Peter. He hopes to inspire individuals and stand up for those who are faced with hardened conditions. “Even if just one person manages to hear my voice and let it live within themselves, I will feel content and gracious.” He plans to graduate in May 2020 with a degree in International Business.

More about Peter:

  • What I’m reading: “Fifty Things that Made the Modern Economy” by Tim Harford
  • Theme song: “Mt. Washington” by the Local Natives
  • Who inspires me: Elon Musk
  • Enactus in one word: Revolutionary.
  • Best Enactus moment: “Hearing the approval of our first major partnership with Sant’Egidio. The feeling of knowing that you will be able to touch so many people’s lives is truly one of its own.”
  • In five years, I will be… “working for a financial institution in Rome.”
