Among their winning projects was a four-stage effort in a rural region in Ukraine that combined lake and forest sustainability with tourism development to benefit area residents.

Teams at this year’s competition presented a variety of projects aimed at helping Ukrainians prosper, including plastic cap recycling, clean water initiatives, employment opportunities for deaf individuals and handicraft businesses for young mothers.

Pavlo Sheremeta, president of the Kyiv School of Economics, provided the keynote address where he stressed the importance of Enactus team projects and how the energy, passion and care of Enactus students are key to the boosting the future of Ukraine.

Special thanks to this event sponsors Ernst & Young, Metinvest, Philip Morris, PZu Ukraine and SUN InBev Ukraine, as well as Business and Tonis television and Investgazeta magazine for covering the event.
