  • Ghana National Competition Highlights

    In preparation for the upcoming World Cup, Enactus Ghana invited a special guest to their national competition, which was held 19 and 20 June at the Mensvic Grand Hotel in Accra: H.E. Ms. Sun Boahong, the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana. Not only was she on hand to help present the award to the national champion team from the University of Ghana, but she also addressed the delegates in a keynote speech. Her message of fostering entrepreneurship and embracing innovation, action and cooperation to create a brighter future resonated with all in attendance.

  • Netherlands National Competition Highlights

    If there were an award handed out for the most impressive venue for a national competition, Enactus Netherlands may just win it. Held on 13 June at Utrecht University in Jaarbeurs, the competition’s main ceremony room looked like it was set to host an international fashion show or major brand release, with its bright lights and modern design. The look and feel of the room, however, paled in comparison to the energy, excitement and passion displayed by the teams that presented, the faculty who cheered them on, and the executives who gave their time to make the day such a success.

  • France National Competition Highlights

    When something is exciting and gets a lot of attention, we say it’s creating buzz. Well, the Enactus France National Competition created a lot of buzz, blowing up social media with messages of support, pictures of the event, and details of the amazing work presented. On 3-4 June, nearly 600 people met at Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris to celebrate the accomplishments of the past year and choose a national champion to represent France at the upcoming Enactus World Cup.

  • China National Competition Highlights

    While all national competitions are exciting, the Enactus China National Competition had a special feel this year: as the host country for the Enactus World Cup this October, the teams competing knew that whichever university won the national title would have the unique experience of being the home team during the global event. In some ways, our 14th national competition was a dry run of our global competition, as it was held in the same city and in the same venue where the World Cup will take place this fall, with many similar events and participating companies.   • Russia National Competition Highlights

    For our Enactus teams in Russia, the road to the national competition actually began two months ago: throughout the month of April, 10 regional competitions were held in cities around the country, giving teams from 68 universities the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial initiatives. With over 1,200 people participating in the regional competitions and 242 executives volunteering their time to judge, these events were an extraordinary celebration of the impact the Enactus program is having in Russian communities.   • Poland National Competition Highlights

    Over 320 students, faculty members and business executives met in Warsaw on 2 June at the Kamienica Theatre for the Enactus Poland National Competition, our 12th event of the competition season. Nine teams presented their social entrepreneurship initiatives to 80 judges over two rounds of competition. Those nine teams shared the details of nearly 30 projects they collectively completed over the past year, addressing a range of topics including job creation for the homeless, nutrition issues for children and adults, technology accessibility for seniors, and the exclusion of people with disabilities from the labor market.
